  1. Where can I rent a projector?

You can rent projectors from Projector123.com anywhere in the U.S. Just place your order online using our secure server or give us a call at 888-866-6123.

  2. I need a projector fast -- how soon can I get it?

We can ship to ensure same-day delivery (and on rare occasions we have done just that!) Whenever possible, we prefer to have 3 days’ notice, so we can ship your projector to you the day before you need it, to keep your shipping costs as low as possible.

  3. What is the rental period?

You’ll specify your preferred rental period when you place your rental order. We will also apply a one-day grace period on either end of the rental to allow time for you to receive the projector and return it at your convenience. For example, if you need a projector rental for Wednesday and Thursday, we would ship your rental on Monday, expecting it to arrive at your specified location by Tuesday, and you would ship it back to us on Friday, to arrive back to us by Saturday. Please note, you are responsible for any damage, loss or theft of the projector while it is in your custody, which is defined by delivery and signature upon receipt from FedEx, and the return and 'post mark' by FedEx. In other words, the projector is your responsibility from the time FedEx hands it to you until the time you hand it back for shipping.

  4. What contracts do I need to sign?

We have simplified the Projector123.com contract procedure as much as possible. When you order your projector rental online, simply click "agree" after you review the terms and conditions at the end of the online checkout process. We can also email you a copy of the terms at your request.

  5. If I reserve a unit but later decide I don't need it, will I be charged?

If the projector hasn't yet shipped, you pay nothing. If the projector has already been shipped, we’ll simply charge you for one rental day (at the projector's daily rate) plus shipping. You must return the projector the same day you received it in order to avoid further charges.

  6. Do you provide half-day rentals?

Unfortunately, because of our shipping policy we cannot allow half-day rentals. However, if you return the projector before your expected rental period is completed, we will be happy to credit you for the unused days.

  7. What is your damage policy?

Our damage policy is simple: if you break it, you buy it. If the projector is lost, damaged or stolen while under your care, we will charge you the retail value of the equipment (including remote control, carrying case and cables).

Please note, you are responsible for the projector while it is in your custody, which is defined by delivery and signature upon receipt from FedEx, and the return and 'post mark' by FedEx. In other words, the projector is your responsibility from the time FedEx hands it to you until the time you hand it back for shipping.

  8. What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel your order before your projector is shipped from our warehouse, then there will be no charge. Once we’ve shipped your projector, we must charge you for one rental day (at the projector's daily rate plus shipping). You must return the projector the same day you received it in order to avoid further charges.

  9. What happens if I am late returning the unit?

If you keep the projector for extra days, we will continue to charge a rental fee at the projector's daily rate.

  10. What do you charge for shipping?

Projector123 offers free ground shipping on all orders placed within the proper shipping time bracket. To ensure your order ships for free we recommend placing your order 10 days ahead.

  11. How do you ship the projectors?

We ship exclusively via FedEx and require a signature upon delivery. We time your delivery to ensure your projector is scheduled to arrive one day before you need it. For example, if you need a projector on Tuesday, we’ll ship it to you so that it arrives on Monday at no extra charge. When you receive the projector, you will find a pre-printed FedEx label for easy return. Simply replace the old label with the new label we provide and bring the package to your nearest FedEx office or drop box.

  12. Can you ship projectors directly to my hotel?

Absolutely! We can ship projectors anywhere in the U.S. Just mention any special circumstances when you place your order, and we’ll make a note of this on your shipping slip.

  13. How will the projector arrive? Do you supply a carrying case?

Your projector rental will arrive in a handsome carrying case that doubles as the shipping case. Projector123.com provides you with a sturdy yet simple black case, devoid of any branding or distracting markings.

  14. What if I have trouble setting up the projector?

We have truly simplified the projector rental process, including projector setup and takedown. Your rental will arrive with a handy quick-start guide and an abbreviated product manual, and we also provide toll-free tech support, available 24/7. In most cases, our expert troubleshooting will reveal a simple and easily fixable issue (such as a loose cable), but rest assured that our competent staff will assist you in getting your rental projector set up appropriately.

  15. What if my projector doesn’t arrive in time?

We ship your projector a day early, in case of delivery delays. In the rare event that a projector does not arrive on time, we can ship a replacement via priority overnight shipping to ensure you’ve got the projector you need when you need it.

  16. What happens if there is a problem with the projector?

Here at Projector123.com, it’s our top priority to ensure that you have a working projector in time for your presentation. Each projector is fully tested and checked before we ship it, and each unit is also thoroughly checked after each rental. Our highly competent technicians use a five-point checklist to ensure each projector is in top working order. We recommend that you set up the projector for a test run when you receive it, using the handy quick-start guide we provide for you. Should you experience any problems during setup, consult the abbreviated product manual or call our toll-free tech support, available 24/7 for your convenience. In the rare instance that there is a problem with your rental projector (and it is the day BEFORE you will be using the projector), we will deliver a replacement unit via overnight shipping at our expense. Projector123.com is committed to your total satisfaction.

  17. How do I return the projector? Do I have to pay for shipping again?

Like most things here at Projector123.com, we’ve simplified the return process for you. For starters, the carrying case is also the shipping container, so there’s no need to have a box or container handy for return shipping. The shipping charge you paid with your rental includes return shipping, so there are no additional shipping fees for you to incur. When we ship your projector to you, we’ll include a FedEx return shipping label. Simply replace the old shipping label with the new label and drop off the package at any FedEx location. Alternatively, you can simply call FedEx to arrange pick up from your location (or we can arrange this for you). If your projector was delivered to your hotel, you can simply replace the label and leave the package with the hotel’s front desk staff. What could be easier?

  18. Can I have my rental projector delivered instead of shipped?

We can deliver in California within Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura County, San Diego and San Francisco. The fee for delivery depends on your specific location, time and the amount of equipment you’re renting. Additionally, Projector123.com offers complimentary will-call service within the Los Angeles metro area.

  19. My projector arrived, what's the combination?

    1 2 3 of course. Aren't we clever?

  20. Since you don't rent projector screens, can I make my own?

Yes, Projector123.com can suggest a couple of easy ways to create a projector screen at home. The most obvious way is to use a plain white wall or white sheet taped to the wall with painter's tape. Some other ideas include using a plain white dry-erase board, butcher paper, white painting tarp or movie screen material from a projection shop. To learn more, please read our article Simple Ways to Create A Screen at Home

  21. What do I do about sound?

Although our projectors have built in speakers, ideally they are to be used in a meeting or small conference rooms. The built-in projector speakers are not suited for outdoors. Projector123 suggests that you connect external speakers, such as PC or iPod speakers, to your “source” (the laptop or dvd player). Or, you can use your surround sound from your audio receiver. These are easy solutions to "pump up the volume".
